Emma Chichester Clark

When researching upon Emma`s work i was greeted by a warm sensation. i no it sounds a bit strange but i sometime got it when my mum used to read me book when i was a child. I always felt snug and warm by the imagary; and as a child it is imported that 'we' had some kind of conection with the imagary to keep concentration and to be involved within the story.
These are some examples of her work.

One of my favourates was the 'Blue Kangaroo'. Its so pretty and pink; something i would defentaly by my daughter.
I think the compostion is great as the curtains frame the little girl who is cusioned by presents.
Over all, her use of colour looks carefully chosen which will influence me to select correct colour in my project. For example, 'Blue K angaroo' has selected shades of pink and blue with hints of green which as o whole comes together nicely.
